Welcome to MyMeets.com (“MyMeets,” “we,” or “us”). Please read on to learn the rules and restrictions that govern your use of our website(s), products, services, and applications, which include, but are not limited to, the MyMeets web app and any associated browser extensions (the “Services”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding contract between you and Aleksandra Filiukova, operating as a sole proprietor under Czech law, with a registered office at Vysočanská 237/101, 190 00 Praha 9 – Střížkov, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČO) 17540810 (“MyMeets,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Services in any way, you agree to all of these Terms, and these Terms will remain in effect while you use the Services.
These Terms include the provisions in this document and those in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should discontinue use of the Services immediately.
1. Will these Terms ever change?
We are constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services. We reserve the right to revise the Terms at any time. If we do, we will notify you by placing a notice on the MyMeets.com website, by sending you an email, and/or by some other means.
If you do not agree with the new Terms, you are free to reject them; however, that means you will no longer be able to use our Services. If you continue to use the Services after the effective date of any change to the Terms, that means you agree to all of the changes. Except as described here, no other amendment or modification of these Terms will be effective unless in writing, and signed by both you and us.
2. What about my privacy?
When providing the Services, MyMeets will collect and process personal data about you and your use of the Services. By using the Services, you agree that MyMeets can collect, process, and use your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) and applicable Czech data protection laws.
3. Are there age restrictions?
MyMeets is only for individuals 16 years old and over. By using MyMeets, you affirm that you are at least 16. If we learn that someone under 16 is using MyMeets, we will terminate their account unless they have explicit parental or guardian consent (where local laws allow). If you are under 16 and do not have consent, or the law prohibits your use, you must discontinue using our Services.
4. Basics of using the Services

You may be required to sign up for an account, choose a username, and create a password. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated registration information about yourself. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
2. Legal Capacity
By accepting these Terms, you warrant that you have the legal capacity and authority to do so. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to agree to these Terms on that organization’s behalf.
3. Permitted Use
You will only use the Services for your personal or business needs, in compliance with all applicable laws. If local laws prohibit your use of the Services, you are not authorized to use them. MyMeets is not liable if you use the Services in violation of local regulations.

1. Recording Consent
MyMeets allows you to record or upload meeting audio or video for transcription and note generation (“Recordings”). You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including obtaining any required consents from participants before recording. If a participant does not consent, they must leave the meeting before the recording starts.
2. Transcription and AI-Generated Summaries
Our Services transcribe Recordings and use artificial intelligence (“AI”) to generate summaries, highlights, or other related content (“AI-Generated Notes”). While we strive for accuracy, you acknowledge that AI output may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing any AI-Generated Notes before using or sharing them.
3. User Content Ownership
Any content you submit (Recordings, transcripts, text, images, etc.) remains yours. However, by providing content through MyMeets, you grant MyMeets a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of delivering and improving the Services.

Free and Paid Services
MyMeets may offer both free and subscription-based (“Paid”) Services. We reserve the right to introduce charges for features currently offered for free. If so, we will notify you, and if you choose to continue, you must pay the applicable fees.
Billing and Payment
Paid Services may be billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annually).
Unless otherwise stated, all fees are non-refundable.
You are responsible for providing valid payment information and updating it as needed.
Price Changes
MyMeets reserves the right to change fees at any time, but we will provide notice of any changes before they become effective.
7. What if I want to stop using the Services?

We have the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:
Termination of your account may result in deletion of any associated Content, including transcripts, recordings, or notes. Please ensure you have copies of any important data. We will try to provide advance notice, but under certain circumstances, we may suspend or terminate without notice.
4. Surviving Terms
Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., limitation of liability, indemnification, ownership, etc.) remain in effect.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
1. Ownership
MyMeets retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including but not limited to software, trademarks, service marks, logos, and any content except for User Content.
2. User Content License
You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant MyMeets a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, copy, and display your content only as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the Services.
3. No Reverse Engineering
Except to the extent permitted by law, you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Services.
4. Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, MyMeets may use them without restriction or compensation.
9. Disclaimer of Warranty
You expressly understand and agree that the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind (express or implied). We do not guarantee error-free operation, availability, or that the Services will meet your particular needs. You use the Services at your own risk.

You may not assign, delegate, or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent. We may transfer, assign, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent.
14. Choice of Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic and the applicable regulations of the European Union. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Prague, Czech Republic.
15. Partial Invalidity
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts shall remain in full force and effect, to the greatest extent permitted by law.

4. Basics of using the Services

3. Permitted Use

4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Infringe or violate the intellectual property rights or any other rights of anyone else;
- Violate any law or regulation;
- Upload harmful, fraudulent, or harassing content;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account or MyMeets’ systems;
- Engage in spamming, phishing, or data-scraping;
- Circumvent or disable any security features;
- Use the Services for competitive analysis, benchmarking, or building a competing product without prior written consent;
- Record or upload content that violates confidentiality or privacy laws;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any portion of the Services.
5. User Submissions and Meeting Recordings

4. Confidential & Personal Data
MyMeets does not proactively access or review your private meeting content, except:
- as requested by you (e.g., support request),
- to comply with legal obligations,
- to improve or maintain the Services’ technical functionality (e.g., anonymized usage metrics).

10. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyMeets shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages (including loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities).
- Our total liability in any 12-month period shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in that same period.
- If you are using free Services, MyMeets shall have no liability in connection with your use of those free features.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyMeets, its officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- your misuse of the Services,
- your breach of these Terms,
- or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
MyMeets is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, telecommunications or internet failures, etc.
13. Assignment
You may not assign, delegate, or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, without our prior written consent. We may transfer, assign, or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent.

16. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and MyMeets regarding the Services.
- No Waiver: Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not operate as a waiver of that right or provision.
- No Third-Party Beneficiaries: These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights.
- Language: These Terms may be translated into other languages, but the English version prevails in case of a conflict of interpretation.
